Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus took part in the Republican Meeting of the Scientific Community dedicated to the Day of Belarusian Science, which was held at the BSPU.

The official event was attended by representatives of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Government, the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus, heads of ministries, concerns, rectors of universities, representatives of international organizations, the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, youth public associations, the scientific community of Belarus.

As part of the meeting, the best scientists of Belarus were awarded. Among the awardees — Scientist of the Year of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus 2022 Igor Karpov.
