The Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Business and Cultural Complex of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation are holding the 6th joint Belarusian-Russian scientific and practical conference Designing the Future and the Horizons of Digital Reality on February 2–3, 2023 (Moscow, Russia).
It is planned to discuss a wide range of issues of current cultural and civilizational development at the forum, primarily in the context of innovative social dynamics and designing a model of a sustainable future for the peoples of Belarus and Russia.
Among the topics that will be raised by scientists of the two countries are philosophical problems of the civilizational development of the modern world; the place of Belarus and Russia in global civilizational processes; the formation and prospects for the development of global society in the digital and post-pandemic era, the strategy for the development of digital society and digital economy in a permanently changing world. Special attention will be paid to such problems as digital technologies as an element of the implementation of the goals of sustainable development of society; strategy and directions of technological modernization, associated risks and challenges; management models in the digital era, scientific art and culture of the digital world, etc.
The Belarusian-Russian scientific forum, which has already become a traditional one, held on the basis of the Business and Cultural Complex at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation, is a platform for developing scientifically based mechanisms for achieving sustainable development of the Union State, as well as the effective functioning of the above-mentioned integration entities. Particular attention is paid to digital transformation, considered as one of the most important drivers and the main vector of development of the world economy and the global information society as a whole, as well as being part of the national strategies of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
