On March 7, a festive event dedicated to Women's Day was held in the Great Hall of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov opened the ceremony and congratulated women scientists on the spring holiday. Representatives of scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus were presented with congratulations of the Head of State and other awards. The words of gratitude to the women were expressed by the chairman of the United Trade Union Committee Ivan Baranovsky.

A musical gift for everyone was the performance of an exemplary pop symphony orchestra under the direction of conductor Valery Bykov of the National Center for Artistic Creativity of Children and Youth.
