On May 12, 2023 at 03:30 p.m. in the Yakub Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Surganava str., 15) within the framework of the project of the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Science of Art and the Art of Science, an event will open at which an exhibition of works of art and digital art objects CLASSICS & DIGITAL ART will be organized, there will also be an open lecture THE TEMPTATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, MAN AND CREATIVITY.

From 03:30 p.m. to 06:30 p.m. the exhibition CLASSICS & DIGITAL ART will be held, which will feature the works of the researcher of the Institute of Philosophy of the NAS Svetlana G. Doronina and digital art objects of the Head of the Department of Philosophy of Information and Cognitive Processes, Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor Andrey V. Kolesnikov. Additionally, viewers will be able to get acquainted with the authors of artistic and digital works, learn about the concept of the exhibition, about the specifics and ideas of creating Digital Art and their connection with scientific research of cosmosociodynamics, mathematical formulas and computer models, which complements the topic of the lecture and deepens its understanding.

At 04:00–05:00 p.m., an open lecture THE TEMPTATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, MAN AND CREATIVITY will begin by the Director of the Centre for Technological Support of Education (CTSE) of Moscow Polytechnic University, Candidate of Technological Sciences, Associate Professor, curator of educational programs Science-Art at the Moscow Polytechnic University and Science-Art exhibition projects, honorary worker of education of the Russian Federation Ilya N. Volnov. The lecture will discuss the problems of the development of artificial intelligence (AI), its impact on life, creativity, human consciousness, man, its socio-cultural and everyday practices. Various scenarios of development are considered: images of the future with and without artificial intelligence, closely related to the definition of the phenomenon of consciousness, the role of AI, the boundaries of its application in human life.
