On November 23–24, 2023, the International Scientific and Technical Conference Akulov Workshop dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Applied Physics of the NAS of Belarus, and a meeting of the Scientific Council of the IAAS on non-destructive testing and diagnostics were held.<br> At the meeting of the IAAS Scientific Council, the experience was analyzed and the issues of creating National Standards of Belarus, Russia and other countries in accordance with the modern International System of Units based on quantum metrology were considered. A regular meeting of the IAAS Scientific Council was scheduled, it was decided to devote it to the development of intelligent control tools, as well as metrological and technological quality assurance of products, in connection with the announcing 2024 the year of quality in Belarus.

During the conference, reports on metrology, standardization and certification were heard of leading specialists from universities, academic organizations and corporations from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, etc., with whom the NAS of Belarus has established long-standing partnerships. Updated Roadmaps of cooperation were signed.

Young specialists of the institutes of the NAS of Belarus and universities took an active part in the conference.
