As part of the program of stay of the delegation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, headed by its President Kamil N. Ramazanov, on November 27–28, 2023, a number of organizations of the NAS of Belarus were visited: the Physico-Technical Institute of the NAS of Belarus, the Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the NAS of Belarus, the Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry of the NAS of Belarus, ATS company, Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus for Materials Science, State Scientific and Production Association of Powder Metallurgy, Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykov of the NAS of Belarus, the Centre for the Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature Researches of NAS of Belarus, the Institute of History of NAS of Belarus, Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus on Food, the Institute of Plant Protection, the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry. The members of the delegation got acquainted in detail with the advanced developments of the organizations of the NAS of Belarus in the field of technics, humanities and agricultural research.

The parties agreed to organize joint video seminars in the near future in order to discuss the implementation of joint projects within the framework of the Action Plan for the Development of Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan for 2023–2025, signed within the framework of the 10th Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia in Ufa in June 2023. An agreement was also reached on the preparation of a joint publication "Bashkirs in Belarus and Belarusians in Bashkortostan in 2024".

Following the visit, taking into account the existing general agreement on cooperation between the NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was signed between the Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the NAS of Belarus and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which regulates further steps to develop scientific and technical cooperation in the field of petrochemistry.
