On June 12, 2024, the Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Belarus signed an Agreement on cooperation in the field of scientific and educational activities between the Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Belarus and the A. A. Altmyshbayev Institute of Philosophy, Law and Socio-Political Studies of the NAS of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The agreement provides for the interaction of scientists in the following areas: the development of joint research projects, the creation of collective scientific papers, discussion of topical philosophical theoretical and methodological issues of the current stage of development of science and society through scientific conferences and round tables, scientific exchange, publications of leading and young scientists.

The signing of the agreement took place within the framework of the international seminar on Traditions and Prospects of Philosophical, Methodological and Transdisciplinary Research in the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic. The purpose of the seminar was to identify the contribution of the academic philosophical and methodological school of Academician D. I. Shirokanov to the formation and development of philosophical, methodological and interdisciplinary research in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Belarus and to discuss the prospects for international cooperation between the A. A. Altmyshbayev Institute of Philosophy, Law and Socio-Political Studies of the NAS of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Belarus.

Anatoly Lazarevich, Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Belarus, noted the great importance of resuming scientific contacts and developing international cooperation between Belarusian and Kyrgyz scientists. He acquainted his foreign colleagues with the main directions of scientific research conducted at the Institute of Philosophy and promising projects within which cooperation is possible.
