A representative delegation of the NAS of Belarus took part in the events of the 11th Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, which was held in Polack, Navapolack and Viciebsk on June 26–28, 2024.

Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov took part in the Plenary session of the Forum. The central topic of the meeting was the topic of scientific and innovative development of the Union State. Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus V. G. Gusakov made a report on the role of the National Academy of Sciences in ensuring scientific and technological progress. Heads and representatives of scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus took part in the section Innovations in Higher Education and Science: Experience and Prospects of Cooperation of the Union State and the section The Latest Technologies of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Belarus and Russia, Their Scientific and Personnel Support.

Together with the delegation of the NAS of Belarus, the forum was attended by representatives of the leadership of the leading Russian scientific centers invited by the NAS of Belarus, including Kamil Ramazanov, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Alexander Blagov, Vice-President of the Kurchatov Institute, Yuri Klochkov, Rector of Industrial University of Tyumen, Andrey Markov, Rector of Altai State Technical University, etc.

At the Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, a number of contracts and agreements were signed between the organizations of the NAS of Belarus and Russian partners.

At the Intellectual Belarus exhibition, which was held within the framework of the Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus, over 30 organizations of the NAS of Belarus presented more than 120 scientific and technical developments.
