On July 2, 2024, the grand opening of the Doves of Peace memorial sign took place in the Central Botanical Garden of the NAS of Belarus. A new small architectural form is installed at the Glade of Memory exhibition. The memorial sign represents a flock of pigeons soaring into the sky, and embodies a symbolic salute in honor of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. The memorial sign was created on the initiative of Academician Privalov Fyodor Ivanovich, Director of the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, based on the project of Vadim Matskevich, sculptor of the Central Botanical Garden of the NAS of Belarus, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Belarus.

The height of the memorial sign is 3 m, the material is cast silumin, granite.

Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov, Deputy Chairmen of the Presidium, directorate, Trade Union Committee, heads of structural divisions, young scientists of the Central Botanical Garden of the NAS of Belarus, Scientific and Practical Center of the NAS of Belarus on Bioresources, Council of Young Scientists of the NAS of Belarus, etc. took part in the opening of the memorial sign.
