On July 25–26, 2024, the delegation of the NAS of Belarus took part in scientific and practical seminars and an exhibition within the framework of the Field Day 2024*, which took place in the Davliekanovo Rajon of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Representatives of organizations subordinate to the NAS of Belarus demonstrated at the exhibition a number of unmanned aerial vehicles, including agricultural ones (agrodron A-60X) for applying plant protection products using ultra-low volume technology (Aviation Technologies and Systems China-Belarus Closed Joint-Stock Company); new varieties, hybrids and technologies of sugar beet cultivation (Experimental Station on Sugar Beet Republican Subsidiary Unitary Enterprise); promising developments of agricultural machinery and equipment for technical modernization of agricultural production (Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Agricultural Mechanization), as well as the latest developments in the field of agriculture of correspondence participants (Centre for System Analysis and Strategic Research of the NAS of Belarus).

During the visit, the delegation of the NAS of Belarus visited the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan. At the meeting with President K. N. Ramazanov and Vice President A. N. Degtyaryov, promising areas of cooperation were discussed, including within the framework of the previously signed Roadmap. The delegation of the NAS of Belarus also visited Bashkir State Agrarian University. At the meeting with the rector of BSAU I. I. Gabitov, issues of deepening cooperation in the field of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex, technological modernization of agricultural production and professional development of specialists were discussed. An agreement was reached on the possibility of using the equipment of Aviation Technologies and Systems CJSC (simulators, technological regulations, software, training methods) in the educational process to train operators of Belarusian-Bashkir agricultural drones.

On July 27, the delegation of the NAS of Belarus held talks with Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of the Republic of Bashkortostan A. N. Sheldyaev. During the meeting, issues of industrial cooperation and joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles, including agricultural drones, on the territory of Bashkiria were discussed. During the meeting, the Director of Unmanned United Technologies Autonomous Non-Profit Organization (Ufa) M. M. Aminov and the Director General of Aviation Technologies and Systems CJSC Yu. A. Leonovets signed an Agreement on cooperation and interaction in the field of unmanned aircraft systems, and also discussed the most promising areas for joint work.

*Field Day 2024 is the main regional agricultural event of the year for representatives of the Bashkiria agro-industrial complex. The event is held in order to spread innovative technologies and best practices in the field of agricultural production, introduce breeding achievements, share experiences and improve the skills of specialists.
