On August 2, 2024, a round table was held on THE INSTITUTION OF THE PRESIDENCY AS A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS. The event was organized by the Institute of Economics of the NAS of Belarus and the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Belarus. The purpose of the event is to analyse the 30-year period of the functioning of the institution of the presidency in the context of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus.

During the round table, prospects for further successful socio-economic and political development of the country were considered from the standpoint of sociological, economic and political sciences. In particular, the main achievements and growth points in the field of science, economics, regional and youth policy were discussed.
