On September 6, 2024, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Uladzimir Gusakow took part in the grand opening of a new feed mill in the Ustye Republican Production Unitary Enterprise of the NAS of Belarus (Viciebsk Voblasć, Orsha Rajon). Uladzimir Gusakow got acquainted with the new production in detail. The tasks facing the company's staff were discussed. It is important to note that the equipment for the plant is a development of the Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Agricultural Mechanization. The company's specialists also helped to install and set in operation the equipment. Since January of this year, 516 tons of compound feeds have already been received at the plant. During the visit, the work of other facilities of the enterprise was inspected.
Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Uladzimir Gusakow also took part in the Dazhynki harvest festival of the workers of the village at the Ustye Republican Production Unitary Enterprise of the NAS of Belarus. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Piotr Kazakievich, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Agrarian Sciences Uladzimir Azaranka.
Uladzimir Gusakow awarded Diplomas to the best workers of the enterprise, the best crews of combine harvesters, the best drivers, as well as the best operators of grain drying complexes.
The Ustye Republican Production Unitary Enterprise of the NAS of Belarus has successfully completed the harvesting campaign of 2024. The gross harvest of cereals and legumes amounted to 10,045 tons, which is 1,699 tons more than in 2023 (8,346 tons), the yield was 40.8 quintal/ha, which is 3.9 quintal/ha higher than in 2023 (36.9 quintal/ha). The total gross harvest of cereals and leguminous plants, including rapeseed and flax, is 11,279 tons, which is 1,831 tons higher than the level of 2023 (9,448 tons).
For reference: the average yield of cereals and leguminous plants in the Orsha Rajon is 38.2 quintal/ha, in the whole Viciebsk Voblasć – 22.4 quintal/ha.
