On October 12, 2024, Belarusian Autumn: Potatoes, Fruits, Vegetables 2024 republican festival-fair will be held on the basis of the Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Potato and Fruit and Vegetable Growing (Minsk Rajon, agrotown of Samahvalavichy, Kavaliova str., 2a).

The opening of the festival is 10.00 a.m.
The start of the sale of agricultural products is 8.00 a.m.
The program of the festival-fair includes an exhibition of achievements of scientists in the field of potato, fruit and vegetable growing, a culinary program, tasting of traditional dishes of Belarusian cuisine, sale of potatoes and fruit and vegetable products.
Thus, at the exhibition of achievements of agricultural scientists, it is planned to present 14 varieties of potatoes of various ripeness groups, vegetable products. The Institute of Vegetable Growing will present 12 varieties of apples, 7 varieties of pears, 5 varieties of grapes, 5 varieties of hazelnuts, honey. The Tolochin Tinned Food Factory plans to present new fruit and berry juices, grape and fruit wines, starch and French fries of its own production. Farmers and artisans will also present their products.
A tasting of potatoes fried in a giant frying pan, vegetable salads, fruit and berry juices will be organized. There will be a field kitchen.
The staff of the Scientific and Practical Centre of the NAS of Belarus on Potato and Fruit and Vegetable Growing will hold oral consultations on potato cultivation technologies, vegetable, fruit and berry crops, characteristics of the breeding varieties of Centre, their consumer qualities, resistance to diseases, etc.
During the Belarusian Autumn: Potatoes, Fruits, Vegetables 2024 republican festival-fair, the results of harvesting and awarding the best workers of the Scientific and Practical Centre will be summed up.
A playground, a food-court, and an entertaining concert program will be organized for visitors to the festival-fair.
