On October 11, 2024, Institute of Vegetable Growing of the NAS of Belarus, the Centre for Scientific Beekeeping are holding Beekeeping in Changed Climatic Conditions international scientific conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the scientific support of the beekeeping industry. The conference will be held on the basis of Institute of Vegetable Growing (Minsk Rajon, agrotown of Samahvalavichy, Kavaliova str., 2).

The conference program includes discussion of the following issues: - modern trends in the breeding and breed study of bees in connection with changing climatic conditions; - genetic research in beekeeping; - beekeeping technologies; - treatment and prevention of bee diseases; - the use of bees in various sectors of the national economy (crop production, forestry, medicine, veterinary medicine, etc.); - technologies for obtaining bee products and evaluating their quality; - innovative ways of using bee products in the creation and application of food, biologically active substances, therapeutic and prophylactic drugs; - issues of economics and marketing of modern beekeeping.

The conference will be attended by scientists from scientific organizations of Belarus and Russia, departments, members of public associations on beekeeping, specialists in beekeeping of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Forestry.

Within the framework of the conference, National Honey honey contest will be held among the participants of the beekeeping cluster of the NAS of Belarus.
