On October 18, 2024, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Uladzimir Gusakow visited the republican production subsidiary of the unitary enterprise Tolochin Tinned Food Factory.

The head of the Academy of Sciences inspected the facility under construction – the drip irrigation system of the enterprise's garden. Uladzimir Gusakow and Scientific Secretary of the NAS of Belarus Vasiĺ Gurski examined the preparations for planting blueberries; a reservoir and a pumping station for preparing a solution for watering a plantation of trees, an apple sorting point. Another new innovative facility under construction has not been ignored, a new potato storage facility for 20 thousand tons, which for the first time in Belarus will introduce a gas storage technology using a natural ethylene growth inhibitor. The work of the fast freezing shop for potato production has been inspected.

During the visit, a meeting with the labour collective took place. Issues of socio-economic development of the enterprise, as well as problematic issues were discussed.
