From October 28 to November 1, 2024, the NAS of Belarus will host the 14th Belarusian Mathematical Conference dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The grand opening of the conference will take place on October 28, 2024 at 14.00 in the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus.

The conference will bring together leading scientists from Belarus, the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Poland, the Czech Republic, Algeria to discuss the latest achievements, trends and research directions in the field of mathematics.

The scientific program of the conference consists of more than 300 reports, including 22 plenary ones. The conference is scheduled to be held in a face-to-face and remote format, which will allow to hear reports from a number of well-known experts from more countries, as well as give Belarusian mathematicians a chance to speak to a wider range of specialists. According to preliminary estimates, more than 400 people will take part in the conference.

The Belarusian Mathematical Conference is a significant event in the scientific life of the country, participation in which allows to share experiences, establish and strengthen creative contacts between Belarusian mathematicians and foreign scientific teams, expand the use of mathematics in applied research and development, and promotes achievements in mathematics, including outside the republic.

Areas of work of the conference: real and complex analysis; functional analysis and operator equations; ordinary differential equations; partial differential equations and mathematical modelling; algebra, geometry and topology; probability theory and mathematical statistics; computational mathematics; theoretical and applied mechanics; mathematical cryptography and data analysis; discrete mathematics and mathematical cybernetics; optimization and management theory; modernization and digitalization of mathematics education: fundamental and applied aspects.

The 14th Belarusian Mathematical Conference is traditionally organized by the Institute of Mathematics of the NAS of Belarus and the Belarusian State University.
