On November 19, 2024, the NAS of Belarus hosted the Intellectual Belarus: Science, Economics, Society, Education youth forum. It was attended by Master’s students and teaching staff of the University of the NAS of Belarus, members of the Bureau of councils of young scientists of the Departments of Sciences and organizations of the NAS of Belarus.

Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Uladzimir Gusakow made a report on the Belarusian Socio-Economic Model as the Main Factor of Sustainable Development of our Country. In his speech, the head of the Academy of Sciences emphasized the significant achievements that the Republic of Belarus has made in recent years. He related the role that science plays in the modern world, the most important factor of progress. The NAS of Belarus sets a general focus on the effective development of science in the country, on the close interaction of science, education and production, on the rapid introduction of scientific achievements into the real sector.

Stanislaw Juretski, Chairman of the CYS of the NAS of Belarus, spoke about the support and prospects for the development of talented young scientists at the Academy of Sciences. Valieryj Gancharow, Director of the Centre for System Analysis and Strategic Research of the NAS of Belarus, made a report on the Scientific and Technological Development of Belarus: Achievements and Modern Challenges. Mikalaj Mysliviets, Director of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Belarus, presented the data of sociological research on the Improving the Quality of Life of the Belarusian People. Issues that concern young researchers today were discussed at the forum.
