On November 19, 2024, a press conference was held in the Press Centre of the Press House on the Role of Social Sciences and Humanities in the Formation of the Intellectual Culture of Belarus. The press event was attended by: Anatoĺ Lazarevich, Director of the Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Belarus; Mikalaj Sukhotski, Deputy Director for Scientific and Innovative Work, Head of the Centre for Political Science of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Belarus and Natallia Pieravalava, the Scientific Secretary of the Institute of History of the NAS of Belarus. The speakers discussed the ways of social sciences and humanities development in Belarus, their importance in the life of society. They also related the peculiarities of Belarusian humanities, how the results of social and humanitarian knowledge are being introduced into public life, and what he is like, a modern-day humanitarian scientist.
