RAS and NAS of Belarus announce the winners of the 2024 competition for prizes of two academies

The RAS and the NAS of Belarus have announced the winners of the 2024 competition for prizes from the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. By resolutions of the Presidiums of the NAS of Belarus and the RAS, it was decided to award the 2024 prizes of the RAS and the NAS of Belarus for outstanding scientific results obtained during joint research:

in the field of natural sciencesfor the series of works ‘New SRS and Forced Low-Frequency Raman Scattering lasers: increasing efficiency and lowering the generation threshold’ to a team of Russian and Belarusian scientists consisting of:

Arlovich Valiantsin Antonavich, head of the Nonlinear Optics and Activated Materials Centre at the Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanov of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor habilitatus in Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Professor;

Vodchyts Aliaksandr Ivanavich, leading researcher at the Nonlinear Optics and Activated Materials Centre at the Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanov of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, PhD in Physico-Mathematical Sciences;

Khadasievich Ina Andrejewna, deputy head of the Nonlinear Optics and Activated Materials Centre at the Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanov of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, PhD in Physico-Mathematical Sciences;

Pershin Sergej Mikhajlovich, chief researcher at the Scientific Centre for Wave Research of the Federal Research Centre A.M. Prokhorov Institute of General Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor habilitatus in Physico-Mathematical Sciences;

 

Grishin Mikhail Jaroslavovich, researcher at the Biophotonics Centre of the Federal Research Centre A.M. Prokhorov Institute of General Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, PhD in Physico-Mathematical Sciences;

Kudriavtseva Anna Dmitrievna, leading researcher at the Optical Department of the Optics Department of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, PhD in Physico-Mathematical Sciences;

in the field of technical sciencesfor the series of works ‘Functional gradient micron coatings: preparation and characterization by contact probe methods’ the winners were Belarusian and Russian scientists:

Lapitskaja Vasilina Aliaksandrawna, deputy head of the Laboratory of Nanoprocesses and Technologies of the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykov of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, PhD in Technics, Associate Professor;

Khabarava Anastasija Viktarawna, junior researcher at the Laboratory of Nanoprocesses and Technologies of the Institute of Heat and Mass Transfer named after A.V. Lykov of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus;

Chyzhyk Siargiej Antonavich, first deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor habilitatus in Technics, Professor;

Ajzikovich Sergej Mikhajlovich, head of the Laboratory of Functional Gradient and Composite Materials of the ‘Materials’ Scientific and Educational Centre of the Don State Technical University, Doctor habilitatus in Physico-Mathematical Sciences, senior researcher;

Sadyrin Evgenij Valerevich, senior researcher at the Laboratory of Mechanics of Biocompatible Materials of the ‘Materials’ Scientific and Educational Centre of the Don State Technical University, PhD in Physico-Mathematical Sciences;

Nikolaev Andrej Leonidovich, head of the Laboratory of Mechanics of Biocompatible Materials of the Don State Technical University.

In the field of humanities and social sciences, it was decided to award the prize of the RAS and the NAS of Belarus for a series of works ‘Mechanisms of interaction between the regions of Russia and Belarus in industrial and technological development and priorities for deepening integration processes’ to a team of Belarusian and Russian scientists:

Gurski Vasiĺ Lieanidavich, chief scientific secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor habilitatus in Economics, Associate Professor;

Prasniakova Aliena Uladzimirawna, head of the Centre for Innovation and Investment Policy of the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor;

Petrov Mikhail Borisovich, head of the Centre for the Development and Placement of Productive Forces of the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor habilitatus in Technics, Associate Professor;

Li Valentina Arkadjevna, junior researcher at the Centre for the Development and Placement of Productive Forces of the Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The prizes of the RAS and the NAS of Belarus are awarded every three years for the most significant scientific results obtained during joint work in the field of natural, technical, humanitarian and social sciences, which have important scientific and practical significance. Three prizes are awarded – one prize in each of the above-mentioned fields. Works or series of joint works made by a team of scientists from scientific organizations and universities of the Russian Federation and scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus can be submitted to the competition. The number of participants nominated for the competition should not exceed three people from each side, while the number of participants in joint research from the Russian and Belarusian sides may vary. The amount of one prize is 10,000 US dollars.
