On January 21, 2025, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted the qualifying round of the national youth project "100 Ideas for Belarus". The event featured an exhibition of 52 scientific and technical developments by young scientists of the NAS of Belarus. The expert council selected 20 projects to participate in the final of the competition:

The project “Development of a domestic microelectronic component base for device structures of pin diodes based on gallium arsenide” reached the finals on the invitation of Belarusian Republican Youth Union – Pavel Kratovich, Ilya Shramov (Minsk Research Institute of Radio Materials), the authors of which are laureates of the National Competition of Innovative Projects, held at the end of last year. The National youth project "100 ideas for Belarus" is held with the aim of involving young people in solving the problems of social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus, and widely presenting the results of their research activities. The final of the competition is scheduled for this March.
