On 20 February 2025, BELTA press centre hosted a press conference "Belarusian science for agriculture. About the achievements and promising developments of scientists in the agricultural sector." The press event was attended by: Nikolai Bakach, Deputy Director General for Research of RUE "SPC of the NAS of Belarus for Agricultural Mechanization"; Aleksandr Budevich, Deputy Director General for Research of RUE "SPC of the NAS of Belarus for Animal Husbandry"; Dmitry Zaychenko, Deputy Director General for Research and Innovation of RUE "SPC of the NAS of Belarus for Food"; Eroma Urban, First Deputy Director General for Research of RUE "SPC of the NAS of Belarus for Agriculture"; Andrei Chaikovsky, Deputy Director General for Production of RUE "SPC of the NAS of Belarus for Potato and Fruit and Vegetable Growing".

The heads of scientific and practical centers of the Division of Agrarian Sciences of the NAS of Belarus told journalists about overwintering crops, breeding new varieties of crops and the peculiarities of their naming, the development of new projects in agricultural mechanization, the results of animal husbandry and the peculiarities of scientific support for the food industry.
