The management and staff of the NAS of Belarus took part in the national clean-up day

On April 12, 2025, the management and employees of scientific organizations of the NAS of Belarus took part in the national clean-up day. Work teams actively cleaned up their workplaces and adjacent areas, greened courtyards and improved historical and cultural sites. Deputy Chairmen of the Presidium, academic secretaries, and members of the Bureau of the Presidium worked in the Central Botanical Garden of the NAS of Belarus, headed by the Chairman of the Presidium Vladimir Gusakov. The managers of the Academy of Sciences planted new trees, removed old leaves, and landscaped the territory. The territory of the Presidium was also tidied up.

The National clean-up day was held in Belarus on April 12. Every year, about 3 million citizens take part in it. The money earned on the day of the National clean-up day will be used to build the National Historical Museum of Belarus. The construction of the National Historical Museum in Orlovskaya Street area in Minsk is planned for 2025-2027. The museum's exposition will reflect all stages of the country's history and Belarusian statehood.
