The NAS of Belarus announces a youth competition of scientific and creative works “Science of the Future”, dedicated to the Year of Improvement
The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus announces a youth competition of scientific and creative works "Science of the Future" dedicated to the Year of Improvement of the Five-Year Plan of Quality. This decision was made by the Bureau of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus.
The competition is held in order to enhance the prestige of scientific activity, develop creative activity, stimulate interest in scientific creativity and attract young people to science, and develop responsibility in society for the results of their work and a sense of involvement in the future of the country.
School, student and working youth, representatives of creative professions, master's students, postgraduate students, and young scientists are invited to participate in the Competition.
The Science of the Future competition is held by the NAS of Belarus in 2025 in nine nominations: “Innovations in the Improvement of Cities, District Centers, Settlements and Villages of Belarus”; “The Future of Quality: Innovations and Creativity of the Youth”; “Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science”; “Experimental Biology. Ecology, Conservation of Biodiversity”; “Physical and Technical Innovations”; “Chemistry and Nature Management”; “Medicine of the Future”; “Humanitarian Knowledge and Creativity in the 21st Century”; “Innovations in the Agro-Industrial Complex”.
In each nomination, the Competition is held in three categories:
Category 1 – schoolchildren and students; Category 2 – master's students, postgraduates; Category 3 – working, creative youth (up to 31 years old as of January 1 of the competition year). In each category, diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees are awarded.
Participants in the Competition may be either individuals or groups of authors consisting of no more than three people.
The Competition is open to published and unpublished works in the form of articles (a series of articles), developments that are innovative, have social and economic significance, as well as mockups, models, installations, devices, mechanisms, crafts and other possible forms, samples, scientific reports, presentations, essays, etc. Each applicant may submit only one work for participation in the Competition in one of the nominations.
An application for participation in the Competition is submitted by filling out the relevant registration form on the official website of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus before October 1 of the competition year. The remaining materials are sent by mail with the note “Youth competition of scientific and creative works “Science of the Future”” in one copy before October 1 of the competition year to 220072, Minsk, Independence Avenue 66. It is permissible to submit an application in paper form (in the form in the appendix) together with the nomination materials in the event of technical impossibility of filling out the registration form.
