Visiting press event at the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the NAS of Belarus
On May 16, 2025, the NAS of Belarus, together with the National Press Center of the Republic of Belarus, held a visiting press event for Belarusian media at the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the NAS of Belarus. The focus is on medical biotechnology and its practical application. The press tour participants visited the Institute's Cellular Technologies Center. Andrei Goncharov, Director of the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the NAS of Belarus; Anna Ruban, Head of the Department of Cell Therapy of the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering of the NAS of Belarus, and employees of the Center told journalists about the organization’s new developments.
As Andrey Goncharov informed: "The Institute of Biophysics deals with cellular technologies in medicine. To date, about twenty cellular products have been developed for use in the medical field. Seven of them have already been registered in accordance with the established procedure, and nine are at the registration stage."
Journalists learned new achievements in medical biotechnology and their practical application.
