From September 15 to 20, 2025, Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (IPOC) together with A. Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis of Russian Academy of Sciences (IPCS, RAS) will hold the XVI International Scientific Conference "Membranes-2025".
The conference series "Membranes" is a major scientific forum dedicated to the development of new membrane materials, processes and technologies and their application in various industries (water purification and water treatment, food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, chemical, pulp and paper industries, medicine, biotechnology, microbiology, etc.). The conference will be attended by more than 150 representatives of scientific and educational organizations, enterprises of the real sector of the economy of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan.
The Republic of Belarus pays much attention to the problems of rational use of water resources and provision of the population and business entities with high-quality water. Modern water treatment technologies are being developed and implemented. At the same time, it is relevant to understand and possibly use new scientific ideas and technical solutions in membrane technologies proposed by scientists and practitioners of foreign countries, primarily the Russian Federation.
The event presents the most modern technologies, developments, equipment and materials and is a place for communication, business meetings, finding partners and expanding international cooperation. Particular attention is paid to attracting students, postgraduates and young scientists to active participation in the conference "MEMBRANES".
