Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko appointed Sergei Shcherbakov as Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Until now, Sergei Shcherbakov worked as Academician-Secretary of the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
