XXIV International Scientific and Technical Conference "Development of Informatization and the State System of Scientific and Technical Information" (DISTI-2025)
On November 20, 2025, the XXIV International Scientific and Technical Conference “Development of Informatization and the State System of Scientific and Technical Information” (DISTI-2025) will be held in Minsk at the UIIP of the NAS of Belarus at Minsk, Surganov str., 6.
The organizers of the conference are: the International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAAS), the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian State University, and the National Library of Belarus.
The conference featured presentations from more than 40 organizations from 6 participating countries (Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, China, Italy).
Representatives of Belarusian and foreign organizations, researchers, faculty members of organizations and universities, library staff, graduate students, and specialists in digitalization and artificial intelligence are invited to attend.
The conference is planned to focus on the following areas:
Analysis of the state and problems of development of a unified information space, methods and means of ensuring its formation, use and development in the interests of citizens, society and the state.
Development of key areas and technologies of digital transformation: e-government, digital economy, e-commerce and logistics, e-learning, e-health, e-libraries, digitalization of cultural heritage, formation of national electronic content.
Formation of a regulatory framework, an integrated system of standardization (unification), certification, examination, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation of programs and projects in informatization and scientific and technical information systems.
Development and implementation of corporate scientific and technical information systems, library and information systems, and technologies for the automation of information support for scientific, scientific and technical, and innovation activities. Publication activity of scientists and organizations.
Scientific information computer networks, high-speed information exchange technologies between organizations with access to international scientific and educational networks. Regional informatization and information infrastructure. Discussion information support for science and education based on modern information and telecommunications technologies and the organization of a unified scientific information space.
Research into the digitalization of the economy and society.
Cognitive technologies in informatization.
The conference will feature 8 plenary and 74 sectional presentations on the following thematic areas:
Scientific, methodological, informational, technological and legal support for the development of digital transformation.
Automated systems of scientific and technical information, information support for scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities.
Library and information systems and technologies.
Artificial intelligence and cognitive technologies in information technology.
The plenary session will address the following topics: implementing state policy on scientific and technical activities in information technology; scientific and methodological support for the development of informatization at the NAS of Belarus in 2024–2025; artificial intelligence: a comparative legal analysis of global experience, risks, and threats; approaches to ensuring the digital development of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus; data as an element of the national economy; conceptual approaches to optimizing commodity distribution links in supply chains based on digitalization; training engineering personnel at a classical university for the development of the digital economy; and key aspects of the functioning and development of the Union Electronic Catalog of Libraries of Belarus.
During the conference, an exhibition featuring a selection of literature in STI from the CSL of the NAS of Belarus, BelAL of the NAS of Belarus, and the RSTL will be presented in the foyer of the conference hall, as well as stands displaying the results of scientific achievements by scientists from the NAS of Belarus.
Based on the results of the conference, a 424-page collection of papers has been published, which will be presented to speakers upon registration.
