The NAS of Belarus discussed prospects for cooperation with Ufa Federal Research Center of Russian Academy of Sciences
Today, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted a meeting with representatives of Ufa Federal Research Center of Russian Sciences (Republic of Bashkortostan), led by the institution's director, Vasily Martynenko. Belarusian side was represented by Oleg Baranov, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Biological Sciences of the NAS of Belarus, as well as representatives of V. Kuprevich Institute of Experimental Botany, the Institute of History, and the Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language, and Literature.
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of bilateral scientific and technical cooperation, including in agriculture, medicine, biotechnology, and genetics. They also discussed the implementation of the social project "The History of Belovezhskie Bisons in the Context of Ecology, Geography, and Love of the Fatherland" (the creation of the documentary film "Belovezhskie Bisons in the Republic of Bashkortostan").
