Vladimir Karanik introduced the new Deputy Chairmen of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus to the staff
Today, Vladimir Karanik, Head of the Academy of Sciences, introduced the new Deputy Chairmen of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus to the staff.
Until now, Vitaly Zalessky held the position of Director of the Physicotechnical Institute of the NAS of Belarus, and Alexey Trukhanov held the position of Academician-Secretary of the Department of Chemistry and Earth Sciences of the NAS of Belarus.
Vladimir Karanik, on behalf of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences and himself, also thanked Alexander Kilchevsky, who previously served as Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, for his work. He noted Kilchevsky's experience, professionalism, and personal qualities.
"Your contribution to the development of genetics and plant breeding is invaluable. I am confident that you will continue to work productively at the Academy of Sciences for the benefit of our science and the country as a whole," said the head of the Academy of Sciences.
