Belarus and Oman discussed the format of the joint forum “Knowledge Dialogue”
Belarus and Oman plan to hold the joint forum "Knowledge Dialogue" to develop promising joint projects. A possible format for this forum, designed for researchers and developers, was discussed today at a meeting between Sergei Shcherbakov, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and representatives of the Omani Ministry of Education.
The parties also discussed a wide range of issues related to promising areas of bilateral scientific and technical cooperation and the possibility of concluding a cooperation agreement between the NAS of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of Oman. During the meeting, the Omani side expressed interest in the effective use of artificial intelligence technologies in education.
The Omani side was represented by Maryam Al-Riyami, Advisor to the Minister for International Cooperation; Maryam Al-Nabhani, Director General of Scientific Innovation and Artificial Intelligence; and Dawood Al-Shabibi, Head of the International Cooperation Department.
The visit of Sergei Shcherbakov, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, to Muscat, Oman, as part of the Belarusian delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov, will take place from April 1 to 2, 2026.
