The Academy of Sciences and the State Standard signed a cooperation plan for 2026-2030

The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus signed a cooperation plan for 2026-2030 today during a roundtable discussion. The document was signed by the heads of the NAS of Belarus and the State Committee for Standardization, Vladimir Karanik and Elena Morgunova.

The document provides for the development of advanced standards in priority areas of the national economy for 2025–2029, including robotic systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, microelectronics, and artificial intelligence, as well as the development of new and modernization of existing national benchmarks and standards aimed at implementing state programs. Furthermore, the parties plan to collaborate within the framework of the relevant technical standardization committees of Belarus and Russia.

A wide range of participants (more than ten) are involved in the implementation of the plan's activities, including the Institute of Physics of the NAS of Belarus, the Joint Institute for Informatics Problems of the NAS of Belarus, Minsk Research Institute of Radio Materials, the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the School of Physics and Engineering of the NAS of Belarus, the Institute of Powder Metallurgy, the Joint Institute for Power and Nuclear Research - Sosny of the NAS of Belarus, Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification, Belarusian State Institute of Metrology, and others.
