The VIII Congress of Physicists opened at B. Stepanov Institute of Physics of the NAS of Belarus
Over the course of several days, participants will immerse in the world of fundamental discoveries and cutting-edge technologies. The program covers a wide range of physics disciplines, including:
Physics of fundamental interactions, astrophysics;
Laser physics and photonics;
Condensed matter physics, electronics;
Plasma physics;
Biophysics;
Quantum technologies;
Research personnel and physics teaching.
Vitaly Zalessky, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, addressed the guests and participants of the Congress with a welcoming speech. He noted that this is not just a scientific conference, but an important platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge. "This is a landmark event that brings together the country's leading scientists to discuss the most relevant and promising areas of physics," emphasized Vitaly Zalessky.
The Congress program includes plenary talks, breakout sessions, and poster sessions covering quantum optics, high-energy physics, nanotechnology, and plasma physics.
