Vladimir Karanik: The forest is our priceless natural resource, our pride, and we feel responsible for its preservation and growth

Participation in the national campaign "Forest! Goodess! Order!" has become a long-standing tradition for the NAS of Belarus. This year, a team from the Academy of Sciences, led by Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS, planted approximately 2,500 spruce and oak saplings in Volma Forestry of Minsk Forestry Enterprise, clearly demonstrating how the country's scientific community actively engages in addressing environmental issues, preserving the environment and creating a green future for Belarus.

The head of the NAS emphasized that caring for nature is one of the key tasks of modern society and expressed hope that the young trees will thrive and offer many generations of Belarusians the opportunity to escape the bustle of the city and gain a wealth of positive experiences.

The national campaign "Forest! Goodness! Order!", dedicated to the five-year quality plan announced at the initiative of the Head of State, began on March 16. This spring, the focus is on tidying up and improving the area.
