The NAS of Belarus and Harbin Institute of Technology discussed prospects for cooperation
Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Sergei Shcherbakov discussed promising areas of scientific and technical cooperation with Liu Ting, Vice-Rector of Harbin Institute of Technology (PRC), including in space research and artificial intelligence, as well as the possibility of holding a joint competition for scientific papers and projects.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to organize joint internships for young scientists and implement joint projects within the framework of competitive programs.
A delegation from the NAS of Belarus is visiting Harbin (China) from April 26 to 29 to participate in China-Belarus Scientific and Technical Forum in Electronic Information. At the Forum, members of the Belarusian delegation presented reports highlighting key achievements of academic institutions in artificial intelligence, space exploration, microelectronics, nanoengineering, and other related fields.
