Today, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Sergei Shcherbakov met with Jia Zhongqing, Director of the Institute of Laser Technologies of Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences, in Harbin, China
During the meeting the parties discussed:
list of applications for submission to the competition for flagship projects between the two countries;
holding a scientific conference on tribological reliability in 2026;
issues of functioning of the joint laboratory "Intelligent Sensing in Extreme Conditions" within the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
A delegation from the NAS is visiting Harbin, China, from April 26 to 29 to participate in China-Belarus Scientific and Technical Forum on Electronic Information. During the visit, the delegation participated in a roundtable discussion organized by the Faculty of Electronics and Information Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, which discussed the possibility of implementing contract-based projects in space exploration, electromagnetic radiation protection, and other areas.
