Congratulations from Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus, on Labor Day

Dear colleagues!

On behalf of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and myself personally, I congratulate you on Labor Day – May 1!

This holiday unites all those who, through their creative work, are building the future of our country. For the academic community, work is more than just a job; it is a lofty calling, requiring tremendous dedication, boldness of thought, and commitment to one's work. It is your talent, skills, and experience that lay the foundation for our country's prosperity, ensuring its technological sovereignty.

The May 1st holiday originated as a day of workers' solidarity, and today, more than ever, we need mutual support and cooperation between academic institutions and the real sector of the economy. Achieving perfect teamwork at once is not easy, but in today's fast-paced, competitive times, we have no choice but to establish effective collaboration as quickly as possible and learn to optimally use our existing human resources for the benefit of our country. I am confident that the combination of academics' long-standing experience and the bold ideas of young researchers, coupled with effective administration, will enable us to achieve a leap forward in innovative development and the quality of our work.

Dear friends! I wish you inexhaustible energy, exciting discoveries, and good health. May peace and prosperity reign in your families, and may spring give you the strength for new achievements for the benefit of our beloved Belarus!

Happy holidays! Happy May Day!

Vladimir KARANIK,
Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus
