Alexey Trukhanov met with representatives of Chinese companies
Today, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Alexei Trukhanov held a working meeting with Vice President of the Xinjiang Entrepreneurs Association (EMBA) Li Tingwei and Regional Manager of Jiangsu Muhang International Information Technology Chen Tianqiu, where they discussed promising areas of cooperation between Academy of Sciences organizations and Chinese companies.
"Interaction with Chinese companies and organizations is one of the key and substantive areas of our international scientific and technical cooperation, which is based not only on a shared interest in innovation and high-tech developments, but also on the real needs of Belarus and China," said Alexei Trukhanov. He also emphasized that such cooperation, based on the conditions of an "all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership," is an important tool for the sustainable development of the Belarusian and Chinese peoples.
"We have much to offer our Chinese partners – we have significant developments and achievements in fundamental and applied science, including in materials science, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, chemistry, and ICT. Therefore, discussing promising areas of cooperation requires a clear plan and understanding of the mechanisms of our collaboration and interaction," Alexey Trukhanov concluded the meeting with representatives of Chinese companies.
