The Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus and Guangdong Provincial Academy of Sciences signed a cooperation agreement
The Institute of Microbiology of the NAS of Belarus and the Guangdong Provincial Academy of Sciences (PRC) signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by the Institute's Director, Alexander Shepshelev, and the Academy of Sciences' Vice President, Zhu Honghui.
The document lays the foundation for the implementation of joint projects, defining the conditions for their implementation and the further development of cooperation between Belarusian and Chinese scientists.
During a meeting with the Chinese delegation, Alexander Shepshelev presented an overview of the institute's leading research areas and innovative developments, and highlighted promising areas for joint work with his Chinese colleagues.
Of particular interest to both parties was joint research in key areas such as industrial microbiology, microbial biotechnology, and the development and implementation of new strains.
