The Academy of Sciences and the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture discussed prospects for cooperation
Deputy Chairman of the NAS of Belarus Piotr Kazakevich held a working meeting with Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Iran Gholamreza Golmohammadi.
The main topic of the talks was promising areas and mechanisms for further cooperation in the agricultural sector. The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the exchange of experience, the implementation of advanced technologies, including ICT, and the joint implementation of innovative projects.
Petr Kazakevich emphasized the importance of integrating scientific potential and practical experience to address pressing challenges in the agricultural sector, including increasing crop productivity and implementing modern plant protection methods. He also emphasized the adaptation of innovative biotechnologies and digital solutions to automate and improve crop and livestock monitoring.
