Vitaly Zalessky met with a delegation from Guangdong Provincial Academy of Sciences (PRC)
At the Academy of Sciences, Vitaly Zalessky, First Deputy Chairman of the NAS Presidium, held a working meeting with a delegation from Guangdong Provincial Academy of Sciences (PRC), led by Vice President Zhu Honghui.
The key topic of the meeting was the discussion of promising areas and mechanisms for scientific and technical cooperation, including in the fields of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, microelectronics, and materials science.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in deepening their partnership in science, technology, and innovation. Vitaly Zalessky noted the significant potential for joint collaboration and the importance of maximizing the use of existing tools to support joint research projects. Furthermore, the meeting participants discussed the progress of ongoing bilateral projects and agreed on the procedure for preparing new applications for participation in the Belarusian-Chinese competition in various areas.
A delegation from the Guangdong Provincial Academy of Sciences is visiting Minsk from June 1 to 4 this year. Their itinerary includes talks and visits to academic institutions, including B. Stepanov Institute of Physics, the Institute of Microbiology, the Institute of Physics and Technology, and others.
