Vladimir Karanik met with the management of the Chinese company CITIC Construction Co., Ltd.
Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, held a working meeting today with Liang Jie, Vice President of Chinese CITIC Construction Co., Ltd. The meeting focused on promising areas and mechanisms for scientific and technical cooperation, including in biotechnology.
During the meeting, issues of potential joint participation in research projects were raised, as well as the possibility of technology transfer and exchange of experience between Belarusian and Chinese specialists.
Particular attention was paid to promising developments in the production of essential amino acids and preparations for entering the local and export markets of highly productive, balanced compound feeds and premixes.
Vladimir Karanik expressed confidence that today's meeting would be an important step toward a deeper understanding of the details of bilateral cooperation and the successful resolution of pressing issues. He also recalled previous negotiations and agreements reached with his Chinese partners.
"We need to jointly develop a clear action plan, some kind of a roadmap, to implement all the agreements reached. Our main task now is to identify responsible persons, set specific deadlines, and create the conditions for the successful development of the biotechnology industry," Vladimir Karanik emphasized.
