Head of the NAS Vladimir Karanik takes part in the XIII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia
The 13th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia has opened in Minsk. It traditionally features dialogue platforms for representatives of government and business communities from Belarus and Russia.
Around 70 people participated in the session "Strategic Areas of Cooperation in Healthcare in the Union State." Among them were members of the Council of the Republic and the Federation Council, deputies of the House of Representatives, heads of Russian executive bodies, senior officials of the Ministries of Health of Belarus and Russia, heads of leading national scientific and practical centers, national Russian research centers, medical higher education institutions, research institutions, and other organizations.
Participants discussed prospects for cooperation in healthcare within the Union State for 2027–2029, innovative technologies in the treatment of oncological diseases, traumatology, and orthopedics, the use of cellular and genetic engineering technologies, licensing of medical activities and certification of medical devices, the use of digital solutions in healthcare, and interregional cooperation in medical science and education.
