Representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus took part in a flower-laying ceremony
On the eve of one of the main public holidays - Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus - representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus took part in a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Obelisk on the 9th kilometer of Moscow Highway in Uruchye.
During the ceremony, representatives of the Academy of Sciences honored the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the civilians who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of their homeland, bowing their heads in gratitude and respect.
Independence Day reminds us all of the need to carefully preserve historical memory and strengthen the unity of the Belarusian people.
