The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the National Agency for Research and Innovation of Indonesia signed an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation

The document was signed by the heads of the two organizations, Vladimir Karanik and Arif Satria.

The document covers a wide range of priority areas of mutual interest to both countries.

Key areas of cooperation include energy, energy-saving technologies, and agricultural technologies. 

Particular attention is paid to the development of industrial and construction technologies and production.

Under the agreement, the parties intend to actively develop chemical, nano-, and biotechnologies, as well as information and communications technologies.

Various forms of cooperation are envisaged for the implementation of joint initiatives. 

Specifically, active participation in joint research and innovation projects and programs, as well as exchange visits by scientists, graduate and PhD students is envisaged.

The signing of this agreement opens new horizons for Belarusian and Indonesian scientists and is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and addressing pressing global challenges.
