"The date of July 3rd is inextricably linked with a great historical event – the liberation of our capital, the heroic city of Minsk, from the Nazi invaders. This day embodies the courage, unwavering will, and heroism of the Belarusian people, who defended their right to live on their native land, to determine their own destiny, and to look confidently to the future," the congratulatory message reads.
Vladimir Karanik noted that independence is not only political sovereignty, but also a high level of intellectual, scientific, technical, and technological potential.
"The time presents Belarusian academic science with ambitious challenges that require maximum concentration, innovative approaches, and significant practical results. Scientists are at the forefront of the fight for economic security and import substitution, ensuring the implementation of advanced domestic developments in the real economy," he said.
The head of the Academy of Sciences expressed gratitude for their dedication to science and significant contribution to strengthening the Belarusian state and wished everyone good health, new bold ideas and discoveries for the benefit of their native Belarus.
