The meeting was attended by representatives of key government, scientific and industrial organizations: Deputy of the Department of Science and Technology of Chongqing, Deputy General Director of Chongqing Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Holding (Group of Companies) "Jidian", Director of Chongqing Research Institute of Harbin Polytechnic University (HPU) and heads of laboratories of the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering of Harbin Polytechnic University.
The parties discussed in detail the project roadmap and the conditions for submitting an application for a specialized competition.
On the Belarusian side, the project involves the participation of the Institute of Physics and Technology, the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering, the Institute of Chemistry of New Materials and the Scientific and Production Center for Materials Science.
From China - Harbin Polytechnic University, Chongqing Research Institute of HPU and Jidian Holding.
The main goal of the future laboratory is innovative developments for mechanical engineering and the aviation industry.
Scientists plan to focus on increasing the service life and competitiveness of complex products: from pumping equipment to gearboxes and energy conversion systems.
In the near future, a package of necessary documents will be prepared for participation in the competition for the creation of a joint laboratory “Belt and Road”. This will be an important step in deepening scientific and technological cooperation between Belarus and China.
