China-Belarus Forum on Scientific and Technological Innovation in High-Tech Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing was held in Chongqing today
The event was organized by Chongqing Machinery & Electronic Holding (Group) Co., Ltd., Chongqing Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Institute of Electromechanical Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology, and Belarusian National Technical University.
As part of a visit to Chongqing, a delegation from the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, led by Vitaly Zalessky, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS, visited Chongqing Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology.
Scientists and specialists were able not only to see the institute's advanced laboratories but also to examine in detail the developments that are currently shaping the trajectory of Chinese industry.
The forum’s program was packed with activity: scientists and specialists from both countries discussed the future of mechanical engineering, the potential of nanotechnology and additive manufacturing, and safety issues in the nuclear power industry.
Particular attention was paid to vibration monitoring systems and the implementation of innovations in the real sector of the economy.
Following the event, the parties expressed interest in further developing joint research, training personnel, and implementing scientific and technical developments, as well as strengthening joint platforms for long-term technological cooperation.
