The NAS of Belarus held a task meeting with the participation of representatives of the scientific community and forensic experts led by Deputy Chairman of the NAS A. Trukhanov and Deputy Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee A. Lapko

The focus is on discussing the agreements reached and developing strategic cooperation.

A key outcome of the meeting was the establishment of an interagency working group. It comprises leading scientists from the National Academy of Sciences and experts from the State Forensic Examination Committee, who will coordinate joint research.

The primary focus is on the development and manufacture of import-substituting products to meet the needs of forensic expert activities, as well as the implementation of advanced, high-tech methodologies in the agency's operations.

During the meeting, the parties developed a procedure for the practical implementation of the planned projects; this will significantly enhance the accuracy, speed, and overall efficiency of the research, thereby making a substantial contribution to upholding law and order and ensuring the national security of Belarus.

"Cooperation with the State Forensic Examination Committee is strategic in nature. Today, we have a clear understanding of the tasks facing the national scientific community within the framework of our cooperation. We have already reviewed specific research topics and implementation mechanisms, which will enable us to make the most effective use of the Academy of Sciences' research potential to address practical challenges in the interests of law and order," said Alexey Trukhanov, commenting on the meeting's outcomes.

The signing of an agreement between the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee marked an important step in the development of human resource potential.

The document established the legal and organizational framework for a long-term partnership in research and education, as well as in the training and professional development of highly qualified scientific personnel.
