The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is launching the preliminary (remote) stage of the Student Tournament of Natural Science Disciplines
The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus announce the launch of the remote stage of the Tournament - a team-based competition for undergraduate students, master’s students, and those graduating in 2026, focused on solving scientific problems.
The tournament aims to help young people develop skills in applying fundamental knowledge to solve practical problems, engaging in scientific discussion, publicly defending their findings, and working in interdisciplinary teams. The format involves solving practical, science-oriented problems within a set timeframe (the remote stage) and participating in "scientific battles" (the in-person stage).
Applications for participation in the in-person stage of the tournament (including problem solutions and team lists) should be submitted at smu@presidium.bas-net.by no later than December 19, 2026.
