On August 13, 2015 the LG Electronics delegation visited NAS of Belarus. The Korean guests held negotiations with the leaders of the Academy. The Academy was represented by Vice Chairman of Presidium Sergei Chizhik, managers and employees of NASB research institutes.
The main topic of the negotiations was cooperation in the field of heat and mass transfer and the possibilities of signing an agreement for organization of joint research. Among LG Electronics major interests are achievements in the field of heat dissipation and new materials. Academician Vladimir Agabekov, Director of Institute of New Materials Chemistry, noted that the institute had cooperated with LG Electronics for a decade in the field of adhesive technologies, adhesives, LEDs and other fields.
